The main difference between an e-bike with a 3-speed hub gear and one with a 7-speed hub gear is the number of available gear options. A 7-speed hub gear provides more gear ratios, allowing for finer adjustments to match different riding conditions such as hills or flats. This can result in a smoother and more efficient ride compared to a 3-speed hub gear, which may have limited options for varying terrain. Ultimately, the choice between the two will depend on the rider's preference and the type of terrain they plan to ride on. **

To adjust the Nexus 3-speed hub gear, start by shifting the gear to the highest gear (3) and then loosen the cable anchor bolt. Next, adjust the yellow indicator on the hub so that it lines up with the yellow line on the shifter. Then, pull the cable taut and tighten the cable anchor bolt. Finally, shift through the gears to ensure smooth and accurate shifting. If the gears are still not shifting properly, you may need to adjust the cable tension or take it to a professional bike mechanic for further adjustments. **
